Dr. Carmina Cruz-Dayrit, MD, FAAP

Founder & Lead Pediatrician, The Children’s Clinic

Dr. Carmina Cruz-Dayrit is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) with over 25 years of experience in providing compassionate, specialized care to children and their families.

Educational Excellence & Leadership

Dr. Cruz-Dayrit’s medical journey began at the University of the Philippines, where she earned her medical degree. She subsequently moved to New York City to complete her Pediatric Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center. Her leadership and clinical excellence during this time led to her appointment as Chief Resident.

Following her residency, she pursued advanced sub-specialty training through a Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.

A Legacy of Care in Lancaster

Since moving to Lancaster in 1998, Dr. Cruz-Dayrit has been a cornerstone of local pediatric healthcare. In 2007, she established The Children’s Clinic, a practice dedicated to providing a nurturing medical home for the community.

While she provides comprehensive care for all pediatric needs, she holds a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), focusing on early intervention and long-term support for neurodivergent children.

Robin Dawson Estrada

Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner originally from Fayetteville, N.C. She completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has practiced in Lancaster since 1996. Robin enjoys all aspects of pediatric primary care, but is especially interested in behavior, diet and exercise, and integrative medicine. Her research interests include healthcare provision and access issues for vulnerable populations. Robin is married with four children, and enjoys reading and gardening in her spare time.

About Erica

Erica Adams is a native of Lancaster, South Carolina, with a deep-rooted commitment to the health and wellness of her hometown community. Her journey in medicine began in 2013 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role that instilled in her the values of patient advocacy and compassionate, hands-on care.

Driven to do more for families, Erica earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. Today, she combines her high-level clinical training with a gentle, patient-centered approach to pediatric medicine.

Clinical Expertise

Erica provides a full spectrum of pediatric services for infants, children, and adolescents, including:

Preventative Care: Well-child visits and routine immunizations.

Illness Management: Expert care for common acute conditions (colds, ear infections, etc.).

Chronic Support: Ongoing management of long-term health needs.

Angela “Angie” Stacks, MSN, FNP-BC

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Angela “Angie” Stacks is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings over a decade of diverse clinical experience and a lifelong passion for pediatrics to The Children’s Clinic. A resident of Lancaster since 1990, Angie is deeply committed to the health and well-being of the community where she raised her own family.

A Journey of Dedication

Angie’s path to advanced practice is a testament to her work ethic and passion for patient care. She began her nursing career in 2013 after graduating from the University of South Carolina Lancaster. While working the demanding night shift as an RN and Charge Nurse in the Emergency Room at MUSC Health Lancaster (formerly Springs Memorial), she pursued her Master’s degree.

In 2021, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing (FNP) from Walden University. After gaining valuable experience in travel nursing and serving as a hospital provider at MUSC Lancaster, she officially joined The Children’s Clinic full-time in January 2026, realizing her long-held dream of specializing in pediatric care.

Emergency & Acute Care: Years of experience in high-pressure ER environments, providing her with sharp diagnostic skills and the ability to remain calm in critical situations.

Board Certification: American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Pediatric Focus: Dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children during every stage of their growth.

Personal Interests

Outside of her professional life, Angie is a devoted wife, mother of four sons, and a proud grandmother of four. Her “free time” is just as active as her clinical life; she is an avid traveler, a reader, and an animal lover who cares for her dogs, cats, and chickens. She also has a creative side, frequently showcasing her talents in the art of cake decorating.

NeDeirdra Weldon, MSN, FNP-BC

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

NeDeirdra Weldon is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing evidence-based, high-quality care that puts the patient first. With a career in healthcare spanning over a decade, she brings a wealth of clinical experience and a gentle, approachable demeanor to The Children’s Clinic.

A Foundation of Clinical Excellence

NeDeirdra began her journey in medicine in 2009, working in the laboratory of a high-volume Level I trauma center. This experience provided her with a unique, “behind-the-scenes” understanding of diagnostics and acute care. Since then, she has advanced through every level of nursing education, earning her Associate, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees in Nursing.

Outside of the clinic, NeDeirdra’s life is just as full. She is married and a proud mother of four, which gives her a firsthand perspective on the joys (and occasional chaos!) of raising children. She is an avid outdoors enthusiast and stays active in local community service initiatives.
